The Reason for the Snow Hike

I am SO excited to show you these next photos. For some time, I've been wanting to do cosplay photography, but where does one start when it's a brand new idea to you and you don't know anyone who can mentor you? Ask princesses for help!!

I was lucky enough to get Kai Leigh from Princess Parties to come be Anna and Sara from Character Booking.
Side note, Anna hand-painted her dress and Elsa made hers!


These girls were AMAZING together. My 4 year old girl was entranced the entire time and my 7 year old invited Anna to HIS birthday party!

Snow Hike

Today I took some of my Munchkins (and a couple of their friends) on a Snow Hike. The mission was to gather as many background/scenery shots as possible, hopefully to use with cosplay photos. The result was SO much more. I had a blast with these kids and they did, too!!

This was at the top of the hill. They needed a little rest before continuing!

Bonus, here's the one of Paisley with a little extra sparkle!!!

Emily and Maggie

I can't tell you how much I love that these girls are not only best friends, but cousins as well!!

Bryar

I have known this family for a little over a year. They are just the neatest. I loved being able to see all of their personalities during photos. And the location, while I've done it before, this time it seemed so new and exciting!!

Grant Family

I just LOVE doing family photos!! This day was SO incredibly cold, even with no snow on the ground. The kids were done pretty quickly, so we made up a few of the kids shots a few days later. They were just SO fun! I feel like I've made a great new friend!

Mears Family

This is my brother and his family. Maybe I'm a little biased, but this shoot was SO fun!!

Nativity

I had the funnest opportunity to take photos of a bunch of kids acting out the nativity. I can't post too many of them since that is a LOT of permissions to get. One of the fun things about it is that I got to play with photoshop, too. Not all of them were professional grade, but OH they were fun! I'm only going to show you my VERY favorite one, though. Mary is played by my daughter and the baby is mine as well.
